Dave Matthews without energy and at a bad location
I was disappointed by Splou, despite being a dedicated fan for 5-6 years. The scene at Saratoga Springs lacked the necessary gear for a clear sound experience unless you were right at the front. The band appeared to focus more on themselves rather than the audience, with numerous long instrumental solos and Dave mumbling incoherently into the mic and few hit songs. However, the crowd was enthusiastic and engaged whenever the band performed their more lively tracks, although this did not seem to encourage the band to play more of those songs.
